Doing Business in Tamaulipas

This northern state shares a 400-kilometer border with the United States and is home to some 400 plants producing mainly automotive parts, electrical accessories and textiles. As the only Mexican border state with direct rail connection to Mexico City, more than 50% of goods traded between the U.S. and Mexico pass through Tamaulipas.
