 There are many foreign chambers of commerce in Mexico, the largest being the American (AmCham), with others including the Canadian (CanCham), the British (BritCham) and also Japanese and European chambers of commerce. Most have offices in other large cities throughout Mexico, such as Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Large Mexican chambers of commerce include CANACINTRA and the Camara Nacional de Comercio de la Ciudad de Mexico. The various chambers of commerce offer diverse services for the facilitation of business and the promotion of trade between Mexico and the foreign countries. They offer publications, both weekly and monthly, keeping their members up to date on economic and financial news. They organize seminars, conferences and cocktail events with the purpose of helping their members gain a solid knowledge base for doing business in Mexico and also for the all-important purpose of networking. The chambers of commerce are also excellent resources for those looking for employment and work in close collusion with the embassies of their respective countries.
